Scholars emerging from the Urban Research Incubator (URI) Group at the Institute for Science Technology and Policy (ISTP), linked to our Chair, recently published a video describing their work in informal settlements in the Townships of Cape Town, in South Africa. Their research involved studies of high mast lighting, and their effects on the night-time experience of locals, devising the notion of 'everynight life', developing methods to understand its qualities.
