Centro Cultural Villas de San Pablo, Baranquilla, Colombia
The Chair is involved in research to develop a Makers’ space in the City of Barranquilla, Colombia, combining elements of indigenous Carnival Culture with tools and digital-know how, to create an integrated economic development and talent hub.
Working in partnership with local artists, students, and entrepreneurs, the Makers’ Space to be situated in Barranquilla is intended as a cultural, social and economic hub for the local community and economy.
This project is part of the broader Urban Transformation Program headed by the ETHZ via the Klumpner Chair, with the support of the Swiss Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
