Georgia Drakou
Georgia is an architect and urban designer from Greece. She holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Urban and Territorial Design from ETH Zurich and EPFL (2022) and an Integrated Master in Architecture from the University of Patras in Greece (2019). Her work addresses critical issues in contemporary urbanization through ethnographic research, GIS analysis, and design-driven projects, focusing on sustainability, inclusivity, and social justice. With several years of experience as an architect and urban designer in Switzerland and Greece, she has contributed to spatial transformation processes at various scales, from large-scale neighbourhood developments to open space strategies and urban climate adaptation initiatives. She has also participated in exhibitions across Europe and the United States.
Georgia is a Scientific Research Assistant at the Chair since 2024.
